What we measure using the ProfileXT.
We look at 3 main areas and 20 specific aspects:
1. Thinking Style (Do they have the academic capacity to do the job?)
Learning index - expected learning, reasoning & problem solving potential.
Verbal skill - a measure of verbal skill through vocabulary.
Verbal reasoning - using words to reason and problem solve.
Numerical ability - a measure of numeric calculation ability
Numerical reasoning - using numbers to reason and solve problems.
2. Behavioural traits (Do they behave as we do and as our clients do?)
Energy level - endurance and capacity for a fast pace.
Assertiveness - tendency to take charge of people and situations, Leader.
Sociability - tendency to be outgoing, people oriented, to "join in"
Manageability - tendency to follow policies, accept controls and supervision.
Attitude - tendency to have a positive attitude to people and outcomes.
Decisiveness - uses available information to make decisions quickly.
Accommodating - tendency to be friendly, cooperative, agreeable. Team player?
Independence - tendency to be self-reliant, self-directed, make own decisions.
Objective judgement - to think clearly and be objective in decision making.
3. Work related interests (Are they interested in the job?)
Financial, enterprising, technical, people service, mechanical and creative.
