Client required improved advance knowledge about potential new recruits to their small team. They needed candidates with a high level of technical knowledge as well as essential personal qualities.

After compiling a bespoke benchmark for measuring "job fit", candidates were asked to sit the ProfileXT psychometric test before final interview.

Immediate improvements in targeted questions were realised allowing more effective final interviews.

In one case an otherwise well matched individual was found to be substantially less decisive than required. After discussion with the Managing Director an appointment was still made. The M.D. concluded that because he was aware of this discrepancy he could live with it and manage the individual to "work around" it. The candidate was therefore offered the job.

He concluded that forewarned is to be forearmed!
